“ Quand’ero piccola e suonavo il pianoforte mia nonna si sedeva sulla poltrona, dietro di me, e mi ascoltava suonare per ore. A quei tempi credevo che la mia musica sarebbe rimasta sempre lì in quella stanza e questo mi rendeva felice. Se stai leggendo queste parole significa che, quella musica, è uscita dalla mia stanza per entrare nella tua. Alcuni dei brani sono nati quando questo disco era solo un’utopia, un sogno nascosto e lontano. Ogni brano appartiene a momenti diversi della mia vita, anni in cui tante cose sono cambiate; io stessa sono cambiata. Tutti noi siamo la somma degli istanti della nostra vita. Ed ecco, quest’album è la
∑ (somma) dei miei ISTANTI. E’ tutto ciò che sono stata e la speranza di ciò che sarò. Le emozioni che ho provato nello scrivere ognuno di questi brani, se arriverà, anche solo in minima parte, a te, che stai ascoltando, io avrò vinto. E in quel momento, insieme, avremmo creato un nuovo Istante. Non mi resta che augurarti buon ascolto. E dirti che, chiunque tu sia, mi hai resa come un bambino che cerca di accarezzare il mare: Leggera e Felice.”
